BREADCRUMBS - New Body of Work in Development

THE EXIT ISN’T A DOOR

Core Artist Statement

Breadcrumbs is a body of work rooted in the exploration of the signs we are given from the spirit world, subtle symbolisms that guide, protect, and illuminate our path. These breadcrumbs exist in our presence at all times, yet often go unseen or unrecognized due to a lack of understanding of how they reveal themselves.

This collection is created for those who may have missed their breadcrumbs, for those who have not yet learned how spirit walks with them, shows up for them, and gently directs them toward their highest self and true destiny. When these signs are overlooked, the most powerful connection to one’s inner wisdom can remain hidden.

Through Breadcrumbs, I seek to embody spirit, honor pathways, and illuminate moments of choice. The work invites the viewer into a heightened awareness that encourages reflection, recognition, and trust in the unseen guidance that is always present. Each piece serves as a visual reminder that direction is never absent. It is only waiting to be noticed.

BREADCRUMBS - Chapter One

This is where the breadcrumbs begin. Signs appear before meaning. A crow both witness and guide. Chapter One lives in the in-between, the moment when instinct speaks louder than logic.

48 x 77 x 1.5” Triptych acrylic, charcoal, oil & spray paint

WHERE THE SIGNS BEGIN - Chapter Two

Chapter two marks a moment of recognition. This is where awareness begins to sharpen and the signs are no longer invisible yet not fully understood. It is the space between sensing and knowing where attention slows and meaning starts to surface.

THE KEY - Chapter Three

Realization: “The key doesn't open the world. It opens the self inside the world.”

COURSE DIRECTION - Chapter Four

Breadcrumbs aren’t about destiny. They’re about course direction, the subtle signs that, once recognized, assist in guiding you back to your truest path.

THE EXIT ISN'T A DOOR - Chapter Five

The exit isn’t a door.

It happens earlier.

In the quiet.

In the signs.

In the way you start to see.
